Cassidy is gunning for Karla, who’s her former ally, and Owen seems to be on board by the time the meal is done. Back at camp, Karla tells Jesse that she wants to vote for Cassidy, but really, she wants to target Jesse, not realizing that he still has an idol. She pitches the Jesse vote to Owen, Cassidy and Gabler.
On the David tribe, Davie found the hidden immunity idol. During the tribal council, four votes went to Lyrsa and five votes went to Jessica. Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods. After going on a 3 episode winning streak, Vokai finally lost an immunity challenge. At tribal council, Karla points out how high Jesse’s threat level is. He retaliates by pulling out his immunity idol and insisting he’s safe.

Week 12 had the 6 remaining castaways making cutthroat moves as idols are flying. During the reward challenge, the players battle to knock down targets in the ocean. Angela, Laurel, Wendell, Chelsea, Libby and Donathan win the reward – a taco meal. Jenna goes to Ghost Island, but is not given the chance to compete. The eighth episode, entitled “The Sea Slug Slugger,” begins with the remaining tribe members returning to camp about Chris‘s elimination.

It seemed like Karishma was going to be voted out, as she was the slowest during both the immunity and the reward challenges, but her willingness to flip on her old tribe kept her safe.
Additionally, the hunt for advantages truly made sure that every vote counts. In fact, it caused a mad scramble leading up to this week's Tribal Council, leading into the second person eliminated from the game. Survivor 43reached the final week of the game, and the intensity continued to ramp up. A classic challenge was an exercise in mental and physical torture that led to a never-before-seen outcome.
Even though they were post-merge, the castaways were again separated into two separate teams during this episode. One person from each group would be able to win immunity, and each group went to a separate Tribal Council to vote somebody out. One of the best parts of watching Survivor is getting to know a new group of castaways season after season, and fans enjoy rooting for their favorite player to win. But of course, only one person will be crowned Sole Survivor at the end of the show, leaving 19 players empty-handed. Each player makes a case for themself and answers jury questions at the final tribal.
It should also be noted that Dan was removed from the game after an incident occurred with him and someone off-camera. Janet had believed that she had a solid alliance with Tommy, and she told him that she was planning on playing her idol. Tommy told Dean about Janet's plan, and Dean then used his idol nullifier against her, sending her to the jury. In his post-elimination interview, John noted that he predicted one of the Brochachos were going home.
With just one week to go before the finale, names like Dean, Lauren, and Noura were floated around as possible votes. While they were initially leading in the physical portion of immunity challenge, Lairo lost when they got to the puzzle part of the challenge. At Tribal Council, the tribe tried to vote out Karishma, but she played an immunity idol that nullified any votes against her.
